Join our 8-week Pedicure course for an in-depth understanding of foot care. This program blends theory with practical application, covering foot anatomy, skin and nail disorders, product chemistry, and advanced pedicure techniques. Through in-class lectures and hands-on experiences, you'll become proficient in professional pedicure services. The course, complete with textbooks and esthetic kits, culminates in a Certificate of Competency. It prepares you for a career as an esthetician and meets regional licensing requirements.

Course Outline:

Understanding general trade practices, hygiene, safety, professionalism in nail technology (pedicure)
Learning about nail and skin anatomy, physiology, disorders, diseases, and product chemistry
Reviewing required equipment for pedicure
Practicing client consultation
Examining pedicure procedures: sanitary setup, client communication, soaking, scrubbing, callous removal, nail filling, and shaping
Learning cuticle care procedures: removal, soaking, loosening, trimming
Mastering massage techniques and nail polish applications: base coat, French style polish, top coat
Participating in practical demonstrations, supervised training, revision sessions, and assessments throughout the course.
