Course Overview
Explore the world of makeup with our 8-week, 100-hour Makeup Foundations course. Learn everything from basic techniques to industry-standard makeup application. Our curriculum blends theoretical knowledge with practical skills through in-class lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice. Upon completion, you'll receive a Certificate of Competency, setting you on the path to becoming an Esthetician and potentially advancing to a Certified Cosmetology Professional (CCP) designation. You'll need an esthetic kit and be expected to actively participate in both theory and practical exercises. Your progress will be assessed through exams and demonstrations, ensuring you're ready for a career in makeup artistry.

Understanding general trade practices including professional grooming, and proper hygienic and sanitation procedures

Learning about client consultation form and liability

Mastering sanitary station setup and hygienic application procedures

Introduction to makeup foundations, application, and colour match

Learning powder and blush application, including contouring for evening

Designing lips: application and colour match of lip liner and lipstick

Designing eyes: Eyebrows, eyeshadow (minimum three colours), eyeliner, mascara

Learning to sharpen pencils (brow, shadow, liner, lip)

Practicing under supervision, feedback sessions, and student demonstrations
